Three years ago today I became a mom for the second time. I thought I was well prepared, being my second time and all, but Isla taught me very quickly that no two babies are alike. From the moment she came into the world, I knew she would be different and very much her own little person. Isla is the biggest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. She loves to give hugs and kisses and at bedtime I have to hug her twice (once on the left and once on the right) before giving her a kiss goodnight. She has the biggest heart and looks up to her older sister with so much love and adoration in her eyes. Her laugh is infectious and she makes everyone else laugh. She is a little observer, a bit more mellow than her sister, but she has a little spunk in her. Maybe it’s the Irish in her or the curly hair, but this little one can be very strong willed. She will be the first one to tell you how to properly pronounce her name and refuses to let her big sister boss her around. She has brought so much joy and lots of coffee into our lives and we couldn’t be any happier. Happy birthday Isla! We love you to the moon and back!
